Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we sometimes go to my Grandparents or everyone just comes over to our house.  I remember, when I was younger, there was a lot of snow on the ground, and my cousin and I decided it would be a brilliant idea to go sledding.  Now, before you go an judge, my Grandparents have a really steep hill in their yard.  It's so steep that one little slip and you slide down the hill.  So my cousin and I grab our sleds and get ready to go sledding.  We agreed we'd push each other, being little, you can't push hard because your so small.  So my dad came out to help us, he went to push me and his foot got caught in the string, so I'm going down the hill, enjoying myself, when all of a sudden, I hear my dad yelling.  I didn't think much about, and when we get down to the bottom of hill and my dad's sitting there behind me, with an expression only a mother could love.  Ah to be a child and not understand the fear of sledding.  To be honest, that now makes sense of why Dad doesn't sled with us anymore.  All because of that Thanksgiving day... who would've guessed?

New Technology

I'd love a new phone, something smaller and easier to put in my pocket.  I'd love a new phone because the one I have now the screen is very large, people to not create many cases for it, so I'm stuck with the same one all the time. ( The problem with that is I like to change things up after a while, one case gets kind of dull.)  With the new phone, I would use it to keep in contact with my friends, family.  I could use it for educational purposes, if I have a homework question I want to double check, just use my phone and ask Google.  It'd make my life better because I wouldn't have to worry about if it fell out of pocket or not, or how to work something.  To me, it just seems like a new phone would work well for me.

Dull Evening

My idea of a dull evening would have to be one where I have nothing to read.  I like to think of my self as a born reader, I'll read just about everything and anything. The only problem is when authors don't write their books fast enough, because of this I have dull evenings.  I don't have anything to read so I sit, and do nothing.  It doesn't help that my family isn't all that exciting, so we all kind of just sit there and do nothing.  My dad works a lot, so he's asleep by 8; my mom is sick so she's out by 8 as well.  So, I'm usually awake with nothing to read - like I said - a dull evening.  Well, to me it is, books make everything better, especially dull evenings.

Honest

To be honest, I think there are times you can lie, even if it's a little.  For instance, birthdays, Christmas, Anniversaries - I think those are times when it's ok to lie.  But most of the time, lying is bad, it creates problems, it causes stress, it's not exactly a good thing.  Lying is something I think a lot of people do, whether they mean to or not.  They could be put into a stressful situation and the only way out of it is to lie, so lying isn't always bad.  It's just a thing that's confusing and causes people to second guess themselves.
